House of Sports
Ardsley

Camps are offered in basketball (3rd-8th), baseball (2nd-8th), soccer (3rd-8th), lacrosse (3rd-HS), volleyball (6th-HS), performance (3rd-HS),  multi-sport (K-5th) and for tots (3/4 year olds). Please check the calendar as we do not offer camp for every age group, every week.

 

 


Music Conservatory of Westchester

Summer Music & Arts
July 10 – August 4, 9am-3:30pm, grades K-6
Come play music, sing, act and create your own masterpiece! The Conservatory’s summer program is fun and engaging for children while providing the highest quality arts instruction. Your child will be placed in a small group organized by age in order to maximize fun and learning. An experienced counselor leads each group so children are fully engaged and make new friends easily.

Suzuki Spectacular Week
August 7 – 11, 9am to 3:30pm, grades K-8
A week of in-depth instruction on Violin, Cello or Guitar using the renowned Suzuki method. Classes include semi-private & group lessons, chamber ensembles, Baroque music, music theory, movement and more! A Beginner Suzuki Special option is available for ages 4 and up, which will include a semi-private lesson and group class, and will take place between 11am – 12pm or 4pm – 5pm. 

Hip-Hop Workshop
August 14-18th, 9am to 3:30pm, Middle & High School Students
Explore the undeniable influence of hip-hop on today’s music. Join the Hip-Hop Revolution this summer and learn to write your own music! Learn to program beats and loops on the Yamaha Motif XF8, the most popular and requested music workstation on the market. Classes will include Beat Production, History of Hip-Hop, Lyrical Flow, Composition, Theory & Analysis and more.

Get your Grimm on!  Dig around in the awesome Grimm tales and pull out a story to make your own. What if Little Red Riding Hood’s grandmother were really a witch? What if the Golden Goose could talk? What if Sleeping Beauty had bad breath? What if Cinderella didn’t end up liking the Prince?

Marie-Louise Miller and Ellen Flaks, two of the best creative catalysts in town bring decades of experience helping young people “stretch their imagination muscles” beyond what they thought possible. Students entering grades 4 through 7

 

 


RiverArts BluegrassCamp
Led by Tara Linhardt & Friends RiverArts fun, intensive weekend workshops will offer a unique experience playing Bluegrass music, developing instrumental and vocal skills, and playing together in jam sessions.

Linda Laghi MacKenzie established PoH in 2004 in Dobbs Ferry, NY. The Dobbs studio closed in 2014, had a year’s hiatus and is now active again.
