Also available are delicious foods and one of a kind crafts. Bring your picnic blanket, extend the summer vibe and enjoy some amazing music and art.
Check RivertownsGuide.com/music for up-to-the-minute Festival information.
The Festival Features:
Performances From Multiple Acclaimed Musicians: Main stage Performances: Hazmat Modine, The Kennedys, Milton, The Ebony Hillbillies, and Tim Armacost & Hastings Jazz All Stars, Joe Crookston, Electric Junkyard Gamelan, Julia Joseph, Hope Machine, Matt Turk, YaYas, Bluesmothers, Take Me To The River Children’s Community Chorus and Nancy Rockland.

2010 highlights include
The Ebony Hillbillies, one of the last all black string bands in the US, keeping alive a key element in the genesis of all uniquely American music, jazz, blues, country, bluegrass and rock n’ roll.

Hazmat Modine, one of New York’s most original bands, delivering a rustic, deliriously Dionysian blend of Blues, Reggae, Klezmer, Country and Gypsy-tinged music. The band features the dueling harmonicas of front-man Wade Schuman and his sparring partner Randy Weinstein, funky tuba powerhouse Joseph Daley, guitarists Michael Gomez and Pete Smith, trumpeter Pam Fleming and drummer Rich Huntley.

The much-traveled married duo The Kennedy’s spin their personal experiences, musical influences and philosophical beliefs into winsome original songs that blend acoustic-based folk, rock, country, pop and secular gospel into an inclusively delightful sound that’s all their own.

Milton, a 2009 festival favorite and recent Hastings-on-Hudson resident, returns to rock the park. His recent album The Grand Hotel has hit number 27 in the national Americana radio charts. The New York Times quotes “He has the pitch and rhythm to carry the day, and his sophisticated lyrics keeps listeners coming back for more.”

Tim Armacost & the Hastings Jazz All Stars features internationally acclaimed resident jazz musicians Tim Armacost on saxophone, Grammy nominated guitarist Jay Azzolina , David Janeway on keyboards, Harvie S. on bass and Ron Vincent on drums.
